GT Network Limited, (Registered Company No. 05937858, and hereinafter referred to as "we" and "our") cares about your privacy. Accordingly, we want the Registered Member (hereinafter referred to as "you" and "your") to know how we use and protect information about you.


What Information We Collect


We collect Personally Identifiable Information (PII) that you provide voluntarily. We require, for registration, a username, an e-mail address and your date of birth. All other information, as a registered user, you may provide at your discretion.
We also collect non-Personally Identifiable Information (non-PII). This includes, but is not limited to, such things as your avatar.
Further, we collect visitation information from all visitors, whether or not you are logged in at the time. This includes the time and date of your visit, the IP address of the device from which you visited, what page you visited and any content you downloaded.
Finally, within the Torrents site we collect your IP address, the date and time of your activity, the amount of data uploaded and downloaded, and the torrent swarms in which you participate.  No permanent logs are retained by us, but limited statistics are compiled based on live data.


How We Collect Information


We place a time-limited cookie in your browser.
We record activity in server logs, based on network information.


What We Do With This Information
We use your date of birth to confirm that you are at least 18 years old at the time of registration.
We use your e-mail address to ensure that all of our members are in fact human, and to enable us to reset account information and relay important site announcements to our members.
We record any Private Messages you send or receive within the site, until deleted by you or us.
We use visitation information and torrent usage to plan capacity and site features, and to detect fraud and/or abuse.

How We Share Your Information With Third Parties

We reserve the right to share your account name, your IP address, and usage pattern with other sites. We may only do so to protect GT Networks Ltd and other sites from abuse, when so permitted by law.
We reserve the right to release your PII when required to do so by law.
Some information you provide may be visible to other Registered Users or non-logged in visitors, depending on your privacy settings. These include, but are not limited to:
By default, your username and age will be displayed to all visitors. This setting may be overridden by you (see how below).
The thread title and username of the most recent posts is displayed to all visitors.
The username of the most recent Registered User is displayed to all visitors.
The username and post count of the users who have posted to the forums is displayed to all visitors.
Your avatar, post count, username, join date, signature, and post content may be displayed to all visitors if you post on any forum marked ( Viewable for Guests ! ).


How To Access Your Information
All user-provided information is available to you by clicking on the Settings link at the top of every page on GT Networks, Ltd. sites, while logged in to your account. When logged into Gay-Torrents.net, you can also reset your unique torrent ID. You can update this information at any time.
Some information, like your username, can only be changed by sending a request by Private Message (PM) to a site Admin.


How You Can Control Access To Your Information
You have control over who can see most user-provided information. These settings are available in the same place you enter user-provided information. You can limit access to Friends & Contacts, Registered Users and All Visitors.
Posts on forums, shoutboxes, and comments on articles and blogs, along with your username, registration date, and last activity information, default to being visible to all logged in Registered Users. This cannot be changed.
Visitor messages posted to user profiles default to being visible to all logged in Registered Users. That visitor controls the visibility of your message.
You can create blog posts and restrict their access to Friends & Contacts, Registered Users and All Visitors. However, Moderators and Administrators can see these blog posts, regardless of your privacy setting.
Administrators can see all user-provided information, regardless of your privacy setting.


How We Protect Your Privacy
We take reasonable measures to prevent information you provide from being shared, including, but not limited to, restricting physical and network access to servers.
Visitors must log in to access almost all site content.
Site Moderators and Administrators do not have access to your received or sent Private Messages. Moderators and Administrators reserve the right to distribute Private Messages you send them to other Moderators and/or Administrators, at their sole discretion, should they deem it necessary.
Only you, Moderators and Administrators, may edit or delete your posts. When anyone edits a post, the date and time of the change and the username of the most recent editor may be displayed.
